Leonardo da Vinci: Bringing da Vinci to Life

WITF is celebrating Leonardo da Vinci’s lasting impact as an artist, inventor and innovator with an Upcycling Innovations Challenge for students, free Art Workshops for adults and a free screening of LEONARDO DA VINCI.
Join us for a comprehensive peek into Leonardo da Vinci’s life, mind and techniques.
Upcycling Innovations Challenge
Grades 6 – 12
Open to students in grades 6 – 12, the Upcycling Innovations Challenge encourages students to use creative problem solving to create work that uplifts, supports or improves their community.
Registration opens on September 16 and closes on October 4. Students may register as individuals or teachers can register as a participating class.
Using only recycled or upcycled materials which must be sourced at no cost, students can submit projects to one of three categories – visual art, fashion and accessories or technology and gadgets.
Art Workshops
Adults, 18+
Our free Art Workshops aim to remove the financial barrier to creative expression and encourage a lifelong engagement with the arts.
Explore themes and techniques inspired by da Vinci’s work through hands-on workshops led by local artists that aim to inspire and promote appreciation for the arts in our community.
